Used to eat here regularly 20 years ago. The fried rice, shrimp paste chicken, horfun were really good.
Came back here for meal every few years. Today I make an attempt again. The standard has dropped below even the normal Tzs Cha hawkers. Lack of unami. The fried rice was bland, lack of fragrance, no unami. Really average. The hor fun was what I wanted to order but it was out of stock at 9pm. I used to be able to order it even at 2am, maybe they have changed their operating hours.
The shrimp paste chicken has the fragrance and still close to before but still lack the unami it once had.
They were already expensive many years ago, they are even more expensive today. $21 for their average fried rice and shrimp paste chicken for take away. Sadly, I feel that the premium is not worth the quality. What a pity.
I can't fathom how they could get a mitchelin star for inconsistent and dropping standards. The stars have lost its meaning in Asia.
Love the bamboo clam, not overcooked. So tender.
not bad
Pretty good authentic Cantonese zi char! My friends and I ate quite a lot and it was very enjoyable. The Har Cheong Gai was fabulous! It’s very well moist, soft, and the har Cheong was very authentic. The salt and pepper pork was also very good. Came on a Saturday evening and we could get seats pretty quickly.

。we ordered a Chili Crab, asked 3 waiters before they served, but no one can answer our question what is the weight of the selected Crab
。foods standard were just average
The taste is ordinary. Sweet chilli crab. The tissues they offered were a waste of money.
I cant describe or dont know where to start. Its such a disappointment, the food. The service team was trying their best. 20 of us ate and 20 of us said we wont come again. I cant even name the worse dish. The tofu with century, the string beans, the sweet and sour pork, fried rice, the list goes on. I am sorry, i am usually not too critical but i hope the owner send someone to do a surprise tasting.
The food is average compare to lot of chinese restaurant, we ordered the chili crab, the taste is below average, really not sure how can they get Michelin guide?
